Meet The Doctors

The art and science of dentistry has become my career's passion. I am able to utilize my artistic passion and skill to give my patients smiles they have always dreamed of. I am also able to relieve my patients of their pain and discomfort, restore function, and educate the patients how to take care and maintain their oral health.

By turning pain to comfort, insecurity to confidence, and negligence to diligence, working with so many unique people made me understand that each person has individual needs, concerns, expectations, fears, and results. This has taught me to become more compassionate, patient, understanding, and flexible to each life situation, whether it be in or out of the office.

Aside from my family, dentistry means the world to me. I enjoy what I'm doing and I look forward to each day of work. This profession gives me satisfaction in life and makes me realize that my life is worth living because of all the unique people I have had the honor of serving every day. The countless hugs and other acts of kindness from the patients, whether in my office or in my volunteer work, assure me that I have chosen the right profession. It means a lot to me that I can make a difference in other people's lives and they, in turn, complete me.

My interest in dentistry began with the influence of my aunt, Mrs. Nenette Golff, a periodontal practice manager in Los Angeles, California. She recognized my passion for art and my high scholastic standings in high school and suggested that I pursue dentistry. I graduated from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines, in 1990. After moving to the U.S., I attended UCLA's review class for the foreign graduate clinical “bench” board exam in 1995.

Currently, I continue my education from Loma Linda University's School of Dentistry. With the evolving technology of dentistry, it is imperative for me to advance my methods and practices to keep current. I am dedicated to developing my skills for the needs of my patients.

My husband, Richard, is an associate engineer in the city of LA Department of Transportation. We have two daughters, Chelsea and Camille. My top priority is making memories with my kids; they grow up so fast! I am trying to enjoy them as much as possible whether it be watching a movie or supporting them at their tennis matches.

As a family, we enjoy traveling, learning about historical places, and being introduced to other cultures. My personal interests include sewing, cooking, fitness and exercise, and reading.

Volunteering in the community allows me to return my blessings to other people by doing what I do best without any compensation. Since 2010, I have volunteered as a dentist at MEND (Meeting Each Need with Dignity) in Pacoima. I go there twice a month on my day off. I do cosmetic work like dentures, partials, crowns, and fixed bridges. I was even awarded Volunteer of the Year back in 2012!

My family and I are also a part of the family choir at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in our community. It is important because we offer our time (and our voices) to the church to instill a spiritual value in our kids.

I am passionate about improving my patients’ confidence in their smiles, and it excites me to provide my service through my professional and artistic ability to promote aesthetics and good hygiene. I appreciate the gratitude that we receive from the patients. Just knowing that they are content with our hard work is what makes this job worth it.

Being able to provide good, personal service and having people notice and appreciate my work and dedication for better smiles and overall general oral health gives me a better appreciation in the lives we touch and care for. This job has taught me to embrace the individual, and therefore, helps my personal growth.

Having different people from all walks of life give me the opportunity to be a part of their experience of having the teeth they always envisioned themselves having makes me feel so proud of what I do every day. No one can take away these experiences.

I attended the University of the East, College of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines for my dental training. Since beginning my practice in California eight years ago, I have attended numerous continuing education opportunities, both in person through seminars and workshops, as well as online through webinars.

Continuing education is incredibly beneficial, not only for the patients, but also myself. Keeping abreast with new advancements or expanding my knowledge and skills of new technology and our profession can help alleviate patient fears and anxiety, thereby giving the patient an overall general comfort and satisfaction.

I have been a resident of Ventura County for eight years, and previously, Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley for six years. Living in such a beautiful area has instilled in me a passion for all things outdoors, especially the beach. I also enjoy photography, cooking, and traveling.

With all the blessings and opportunity I have been given, sharing my skills with the community is a way to give back. I regularly volunteer my time and services to the less fortunate through dental missions and donations.

A majority of our patients know me already because I have been working at Dr. Molato’s office since 1990. Despite this statement, I make great efforts to get the know patients, new and old. I work in our front office where I am responsible for making sure the office is running smoothly in the front and in the back. I love getting to know the patients. In a sense, they become a part of our family, whether we see them twice a year or even twice a week. The whole staff acts as a family and we have mutual understanding and respect of one another. Each person has a role in the office and what one staff member lacks, another staff member has.

I am happily married and I have two wonderful boys. My life revolves around my family, therefore whatever time I do not spend at work, I spend with them. For leisure, I enjoy cleaning, which, believe it or not, I consider my hobby!

Dental Assistant

One of the reasons why I love being a dental assistant is because of the patient interaction. I have met some of the funniest, most interesting people while working at this job. Another reason why I love my job is because I get to spend more time with my best friend, my mom, Dr. Molato! I love working with the staff because they are such amazing people. I have known these people for all my life because I basically grew up at the office. The team dynamic is unbelievable because we all see each other as not only a team, but also a family. I promise you that this office is filled with laughs and smiles because we are compassionate about what we do.

I am currently an undergraduate student at CSUN where I am pursuing a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. I plan on following my mom’s footsteps in becoming a dentist. For leisure I enjoy playing tennis, singing, spending time with my family, cooking, eating, and sleeping. One of the things that I take pride in is my volunteer work. For the past four years, I have been volunteering at an organization called the Miracle Project, which is a drama program for children in the autism spectrum. I also volunteer for Aceing Autism, which teaches children with autism how to play tennis. The reason why I got into these organizations is because of my little sister, Camille, who has autism. She is my sister, my number-one fan, my best friend, and my life!

Dental Assistant

Working at Molato Dental has been the highlight of my professional life. I get to work with a doctor who has a passion that keeps patients coming back. I also enjoy helping the patients and making sure they feel respected and comfortable. The environment in this office is unlike other dental offices. We always keep the patients in mind, which is how we provide such quality work and environment. I love working with Dr. Molato and our team because we have become a family that shares a common goal, which is helping the patients. I especially love Dr. Molato because she has been so supportive, inside and outside of work. She really does put our patients first and she always has the patient in mind.

I have a wonderful daughter named Elizabeth, who is my pride and joy. When I am not doing the job I love, I am watching novellas, listening to music, going to the park, and cooking.
